Frequently asked questions

Short, direct answers to what we get asked most about storing data for AI.

Your data and AI

Where should I keep my data to use it safely with ChatGPT or Claude?

In a database of your own that the assistant queries through MCP, instead of pasting the information into every chat. Traiker gives you that database, separate from every other user's and encrypted, designed to connect to ChatGPT, Claude or Grok through MCP; we are opening access gradually through the beta. The data is yours: at Traiker we do not train models on it or process it, and you can export or delete it whenever you want.

How do I make my AI assistant remember my data between conversations?

By giving it an external memory it can read and write. Traiker is designed for this: connected through MCP, the assistant saves what you ask it to (clients, workouts, ideas, processes) and looks it up in the next conversation, without depending on the chat's built-in memory.

Is it safe to connect my company's data to an AI assistant?

It can be, as long as the data does not live inside the chat. At Traiker every company has its own isolated, encrypted database; the assistant only accesses what you connect, when you ask it to. The data belongs to the company: at Traiker we do not train models on it or process it, and it can be exported or deleted at any time.

What is MCP and why does it matter for my data?

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT or Grok connect to external tools and data sources. It matters because your data stays where it is and the assistant goes to fetch it, instead of you copying it into every conversation.

About Traiker

What is Traiker?

Traiker is the safe, stable place where your ideas and your data live, ready for your AI agents to query. It is a database of your own with templates (gym, meals, CRM, company knowledge), designed to connect to ChatGPT, Claude or Grok through MCP; we are opening access gradually through the beta. It is not a tool for building apps.

Does Traiker use my data to train AI models?

No. At Traiker we do not train models on your data or process it; we only store it so that you and your agents can query it. It is yours, and you can export or delete it whenever you want.

Do I need to know about databases to use Traiker?

No. You pick a template or describe what you want to keep, and your assistant takes care of reading and writing. The database is there, but you never have to touch it.

Which assistants does Traiker work with?

With those that support MCP, including Claude, ChatGPT and Grok. If you switch assistants tomorrow, your data stays in Traiker.

Who owns the data I keep in Traiker?

Your data is yours. At Traiker we do not train models on it or process it: we only store it for you. You can export or delete it whenever you want.

Companies

How can a company use AI with its own data?

First by organising the information that gets looked up most (clients, processes, products, frequently asked questions) in a single source, and then connecting the team's assistants to that source. Traiker is designed for both parts: the company database and the MCP connection, which we are opening gradually through the beta.

Does Traiker replace my CRM, ERP or PMS?

Not necessarily. Traiker can live alongside them: it stores the information you want your AI assistants to be able to query and update.

AI-First and consulting

What does it mean for a company to be AI-First?

That its information is organised and accessible so that people and AI agents can work with it from the start, not as an add-on. In practice: data in a reliable source, assistants connected to that source and a team that knows how to use them.

What does Traiker's AI-First consulting include?

A diagnosis of where your information is today and which tasks are worth handing to AI, the organisation of that data in Traiker, the connection of your assistants through MCP and training so the team uses them day to day.

Where should a company start if it wants to use AI?

With one concrete process that takes time and depends on repeated information, such as answering customer questions or preparing quotes. You organise that data, connect an assistant and measure whether it saves work before expanding.
